A note for primary and secondary school pupils, their coaches and parents

If you are planning to apply to take sports aptitude tests at sports-focused secondary schools or universities in the coming school year, remember that the application requires a mandatory examination by a sports medicine doctor — the Slovak paperwork says “vyšetrenie u telovýchovného lekára”.

The waiting time for an examination is 1 to 2 months, so please book well in advance.

An examination is valid for 6 months. Plan your appointment so that the examination is still valid when the school asks you for it. An examination by a general practitioner is not sufficient.
